The Ghana Education Service GES has cautioned the general public about the vacation date of the Basic Schools.
This was revealed in a post on the Ghana Education Service Facebook official page yesterday.

The management of GES sends it’s complement to all staff and wishes to thank them for their unflinching support in implementing in implementing education policies.
As the first Term of this Academic year to come to a close for Basic schools - KG, Primary and Junior High schools, we wish to remind all heads about the calendar for 2022 academic year.
1st Term 18 January,2022 to 7th April,2022
2nd Term 10th May,2022 to 11th August,2022
3rd Term 13th September,2022 to 15th December,2022
Additionally, contact hours for basic schools are as follows,
7:00am to 2:00pm
7:30am to 2:30pm
8:00am to 3:00pm
These suggested contact hours are dependent on the peculiar circumstances of the communities.
Please be reminded that vacation for the second term is 11th August 2022.
