 Teachers, Heads And Students Should Take Note of This As GES Sends Very Important Message To Them Ghana Education Service (GES) management has pushed back the holiday and reopening dates for Basic Schools across the nation. 


The new development was acknowledged in a meeting called by the Director of Schools and Instruction, which was attended by Ghana Education Service Regional Directors and Management (GES).


The third term vacation date for Basic Schools has been moved from Thursday, December 15th, 2022 to Friday, December 16th, 2022, according to the Ghana Education Service statement in a letter.

It was already stated that Basic Schools will be closed on Thursday, December 15, 2022. 


The first term reopening date for Basic Schools for the 2022/2023 academic year has also been altered by GES. The following academic year’s reopening date has likewise been shifted from January 9th to January 10th, 2023.
