First Term Vacation Date changed For All Basic Schools In Ghana
Ghana Education Service released a new academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic year for all schools earlier this year. This article discusses the confirmed first term vacation date for all basic schools in Ghana.
The Ghana Education Service is the one that has full control of the educative affairs, the GES provides an yearly academic calendar to guide primary and secondary schools within an academic year.

The GES provided an academic calendar for 2023 with the dates when schools open for each of the three academic terms, dates they close for holidays and date candidates sit for their BECE and that of WASSCE.

According to the official school calendar for 2023, all basic schools are set to close on 7th April through to 17th April, 2023.
Basic Schools will resume on 18th April, 2023 and be in school up to 13th July, 2023.
