The Ghana Education Service and Ministry of Education was set to release the official 2023 Academic Calendar for Schools this week.
Finally the Calendar has been released. This matches with the earlier Calendar published here

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT.
SHS 3 and 2 are currently in School, they both reported on the 10th January, 2023.
The SHS 2 Students will go on Break on 18th Feb., 2023 to 10th April, 2023
This will allow the SHS 1 Students to report on 20th Feb., 2023 to meet the SHS 3 Students
SHS 3 on the other hand will Break on 6th April, 2023 to April 16th, 2023 instead of the Feb Break Reported Earlier within the First Semester.

Third Term 27th June 2023, to BECE in September 2023.
KG to JHS2
First Term 10th Jan. 2023 to 24th March 2023. Vacation 25th March to 2nd April 2023
Second Term 3rd April 2023, to 15th June, 2023. Vacation 16th June, 2023 to 26th June, 2023.

In 2022 year Ending to 2023, there was no official Release of any school calendar for the Academic year.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) Issued letters to inform Parents, Teachers and all stakeholders of Vacation dates and it’s extension. Official GES Vacation and Reopening Date for Schools 2023,
During the Reopening of schools too, GES issued a letter of Reopening of School and extension due to the Public Holiday .
On social media there have been various speculations and circulations of 2023 Academic Calendars purported to be emanating from the GES, The Ghana Education Service has not confirm or rejected any of such Academic Calendars.

Recently, the Ghana Education Service (GES) invited stakeholders for a consultative meeting on the 2023 Academic Calendar Consultative Meeting With Stakeholders On the 2023 Academic Calendar, interested parties were on standby to see the outcome, then Boom, a new Academic Calendar in circulation.
You may have also seen it. We hope the GES sees it fast and Officially announce it as it’s working document or indicate its’ official document for interested parties be at rest.
Seekersnewsgh is continuously asked if the New Academic Calendar in circulation is authentic, SHS 3 students from the previous Academic calendar in circulation were to go on Break Mid-February for the SHS 1 Students to Report, in-fact they are looking forward to their Mid-semester Break and so needs confirmation fast.
