Congratulations on on your appointment in the Ghana Education Service. Here are the documents needed at all regional offices in the country.
However your recruitment will be completed after you submit an Acceptance letter to the regional office indicating that, you have accepted the appointment
Documents required at the regional office
These documents will be needed at the regional office to complete your recruitment process. We advise that you have at least 4 photocopies of the original documents or certificates.
1. Acceptance letter
The Acceptance Letter is a simple letter indicating that you have accepted the appointment from GES including the place of posting.
We recommend that you type and print the acceptance letter indicating the reference number on your appointment letter, and the name of the school posted to.

2. Appointment letter
No changes are expected to be made to your appointment letter. You are to print the letter after checking your place of posting. Have a photocopy along.
Certificates required at the regional office
These certificates will also be needed at the regional office to complete your postings.
1. School Certificates ( Lowest to Highest)
Teachers who get recruited by GES are to send their academic certificates to the regional office to complete their postings.
These certificates include your BECE certificate, WASSCE certificate, and College certificate( Certified copy or original)
National Service Certificate
The National Service Certificate is another certificate that will be needed at the regional office. The GES is aware that, the original certificate will not be ready during the recruitment posting.
Individuals are expected to check and download their certificate HERE when their NSS opens the certificate portal.
3. NTC Certificate
The National Teaching Council asked candidates to print their certificate along when accessing their Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination results.
This is to curb the delay it brought after the first GTLE was conducted. Individuals are therefore advised to check and print their certificates HERE
4. Birth Certificate or Baptismal Certificate

- Personal Record Form; Filled and Endorsed; Will be given to you by your District office. Download sample HERE
