GES Open Reposting for 2023/2024 Inter-Regional and/Intra District.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the initiation of the Inter-Regional and Inter/Intra District reposting of its personnel for the academic year 2023.
In a communication directed to all Regional/Metropolitan/Municipal/District Directors, the GES management has instructed them to strictly adhere to the established guidelines and procedures for this exercise.

The process for G.E.S staff seeking reposting remains unchanged. Staff members desiring reposting must submit an application for assurance, along with the necessary documentation, to their respective Regional/Metropolitan/Municipal/District Directors.
The issuance of assurance letters will commence on May 17, 2023, and conclude on June 19, 2023 .
The GES has advised all Regional/Metropolitan/Municipal/District Directors to compile and forward a comprehensive list of staff members who have received assurance within their respective regions to the GES Headquarters.

Completed applications should be sent to the GES Headquarters no later than July 31, 2023. Any documents received after this date will not be accepted.
It is important to note that a staff member seeking reposting can only be released after approval from the Director-General, who will then issue a reposting letter to the applicant.
RECOMMENDED
The processing of Inter-Regional reposting applications to the Headquarters will commence on July 5, 2023, and the actual reposting will take effect from the start of the next academic year (September 2023).
To ensure a smooth and effective reposting exercise, all Regional/Metropolitan/Municipal/District Directors are expected to fully cooperate with the GES Headquarters.
Failure to comply or disregard for the guidelines and procedures set forth by the GES may lead to the rejection of the application.
The reposting exercise is a crucial component of the GES's human resource management strategy, aiming to ensure the proper deployment of personnel to meet the demands of the education sector.
