The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has revealed that the results for the 2024 West
African Senior School Certificate Examination(WASSCE) will be released between December 9th and 15th, 2024.
This announcement was confirmed by WAEC's Head of Public Affairs during an interview on Citi FM.
How to Check Your WASSCE 2024 Results
Once the results are released, candidates can access them online by following these steps:
1. Purchase a Results Checker:
In-Person: Buy a results checker card from any WAEC office nationwide.
2. Access the WAEC Results Portal:
Open a web browser and go to ghana.waecdirect.org.
3. Enter Your Details:
o Input your Index Number.
o Select the Examination Year (2024).
o Choose WASSCE as the Examination Type.
o Enter the Serial Number and PIN from your results checker.
4. Submit and View Results:
o Confirm all details are correct and click "Submit" to view your results.

WASSCE Grading System
The WASSCE grading system is as follows:
• A1 (75% – 100%): Excellent
• B2 (70% – 74%): Very Good
• B3 (65% – 69%): Good
• C4 (60% – 64%): Credit
• C5 (55% – 59%): Credit
• C6 (50% – 54%): Credit
• D7 (45% – 49%): Pass
• E8 (40% – 44%): Pass
• F9 (0% – 39%): Fail
